New Business Development / Account Manager

Amoja is a leading provider of mobile applications and services to the media, fashion and sports industries. An opportunity has now arisen for a New Business Development / Account Manager to join their team.
As a New Business Development / Account Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring new customers and for managing existing accounts.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will research, identify and contact prospective customers. You will contact prospective customers by phone and email with occasional face-to-face meetings.
Your duties will include:
- Negotiating and closing sales
- Ensuring customers remain satisfied with the service
- Persuading accounts to upgrade or take out additional subscriptions
- Preparing and carrying out product presentations
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Proven sales experience
- Account management experience
- Good MS Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
As a New Business Development / Account Manager, you must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Good organisational skills are also necessary.
Although not essential, experience of selling online services coupled with a sound understanding of web services technology and e-commerce would be highly beneficial to your application.
